The Silver City Volunteer Fire Department (SCVFD) was established in 1863 and is located just south of Virginia City on Nevada SR 341/342.
OUR FIREFIGHTERS
We are an all risk volunteer fire department protecting and serving Silver City, Nevada. Services range from medical emergencies, structure fires, wildland fires, rescues and hazardous materials.
EVENTS
Silver City Volunteer Fire Department is a 100% volunteer fire department. Funds raised from our events supports our firefighters and our little fire station on the hill.
